Turkey Time
« on: October 01, 2014, 02:08:31 PM »
Turkey, pumpkin and cranberry's just go with October and November. And one thing living single and as a single parent you learn to cook. Plus going through restaurant management training which involves cooking, thanks Denny's. And I know that my son is grateful. Besides I hate to cook in the summer. Just a sample of what I have whipped up to-date. Pumpkin cheesecake, a pumpkin-pasta bake, which was a BIG HIT with request for repeat. And pumpkin bread. Which the picture is half of what I fixed. Sent the other half to my folks.

So who know's what "Pumpkin Head" will whip up ?

Daing looks good, nice to be able to whip up meal now and then.  I don't cook worth a tinkers damn, made some homemade cranberry sauce once, and wandered the grocery store looking for "orange zest" directions said to add some finally some nice girl helped me out with that, bought some beer instead.
Will have to put your house on my "stop by" list, around dinner time.
