THis is why you dont put your hand down on the beam line with numatic clamps near by.  Not my hand BTW this happend yesterday at my brothers steel shop

I broke my thumb a few months ago so I deffinitly feal the pain.  Mine wasnt as kewel tho, I just hit the left them with my hammer, Doh!! Right on the joint still doesnt move anymore oops

So did he loose the thumb? Gawd i can feel the pain.......just smashing my thumb with a hammer or getting it stuck in a car door hurts bad enough......

That used to be a pinky finger and yeas they cut it off!  THank god I still have all 10 fingers and 10 toes.  I can imajine how hard it would be if they had cut my thumb off.

That sucks. Then you have to feel bad for the shop owner, workers comp. Ain't cheep.I used to work in an RV manufacturing plant. And before they changed table saws there were a few lost fingers............................. 8)

They where actually having a party to celebrate the fact that they had been accident free for 2 years that same day, right before the accident LMFAO.  Boss man thought they where joking when they told him the first time. Poor Corry he just got back to work after geting shot in the chest in a road rage accident (his fault) now he's sittin in the office doing light duty, with no finger.
