Picked up this 73 Nova over the weekend. Been looking for one for a good while now that I could actually afford & I lucked up on this baby on Craigslist only about 45 minutes from me. I love these old muscle cars. Just has one tiny little spot of rust on the lower section of right front fender. One of the most solid ones that I have found. Someone has made a good start on it now it's time for me to finish it.

Good deal, looks pretty complete.

I thought you were a wagon man
-
Sure does look solid. What are your plans for it?
-
Right on, congrats on the new ride!! How much did you pick her up for? If you don't mind me askin... :)

Yeah, it is almost all complete. I have the bumpers & grill & all of the lights & back seat & most of the trim & brand new carpet are all in the trunk.

Lol. I am definitely a wagon man, but I really do love the old muscle cars. These old novas & chevelles are definitely some of my favorites.

Got 1500 bucks in it right now, but as usual that is going up day by day as I keep adding my list up. Lol. Can not complain about that because it is absolutely 99.5% rust free & mostly 99% complete.

These cars look good as they are so probably going to stay close to original with it. I am going to add a cowl hood, but other than that just going to keep it close to stock. Going to put the motor in it that is my profile pic & have a 4-speed for it as well. Have a big block that I would LOVE to put in it but it needs to be built & can't quite afford to build it like I want to right now. Maybe in the future I hope.
-
Sounds great! Please keep us updated on your progress. :D

Nothing like a fat motor in a muscle car !!!!
-
Got the engine bay all cleaned up & painted, got my new clutch/brake pedal kit ordered to change from auto to 4-speed & got new front suspension bushings ordered. Ready to get this going down the road!!!
-
Ordered all new brakes, brake lines & wheel cylinders also. Moving right along finally.
-
A few pics of the build that is underway. Got all new brake system on it & got under the hood all painted and ready for some horsepower to be dropped in. Going to get started putting in new front suspension bushings tonight hopefully.

Looks good man..........

New pics of the build, got the motor & The Muncie 4-speed tranny all prepped & together & put in the car over the weekend. Still have the old valve covers on though, so disregard them. I have a much nicer set that will go on once the motor is in & all buttoned up, did not want to take any chances on scratching them up during the install.
-
Hell yea man, you are making killer progress on that sweet ass ride.........congrats and keep the pics a comin.
-
Got my new headers in & painted, got my new radiator in & got the motor all buttoned up & running finally. Now I have just got to get the seats put in it so I can actually try it out.
-
looks awesome..........

Got the seats in, bumpers on, grille put in & all lights put in & functioning over the weekend. Drove it to work today for a shakedown run. Life is good & I am loving driving it!!!

Here are a few pics of it put together. My next purchase is going to be a 4" cowl hood to give it that BADASS look.
