Topic: carb swap 750 for 500

I was given a 750 holly that needs to be rebuilt . because it will not work on my 302 ford a little to big . I am told I should use a 500 or so  now I am looking for a 500 holly . and to see if anyboby is looking for a 750 .

I was hoping to fine someone that would like to trade if that were possible . as for selling it I have no idea what it is worth .

I am looking to swap my Edelbrock 650 for an Edelbrock 600.

Depending on your engine just old, you will be looking at something around a 600 to a 650. Anything smaller and you will probably run into lean fuel burn problems. The 600's, are a perfect size car, and you will get good fuel economy too. Good luck in a trade, i'm sure someone may have a carb.

oh, if need be, try listing it in the barter section on craigslist in your local area, never know. Someone may be wanting to upgrade to a larger carb.
