My new to me car trailer
« on: July 20, 2011, 05:12:28 PM »
Today i bought a car trailer for 1600 bucks and my buddy delivered it and dropped it off at the house for me. I attached an image of my new trailer, it's a 2004 and well used, but it will work out great for me...Sorry the picture looks dark, damn cell phone.

I have always wanted my own car trailer, just never really had the money or justification to spend the money to buy one. A couple of my friends have one that i can borrow, so that was how i handled getting stuff to the house........I finally felt this trailer was a good buy. Not sure the length yet, but i do know it has a 4' dove tail on it........I will have to look on the title and see what the length is......Sad aint it......I just wanted the trailer.

Kool. I know that I need one, or gotta have one. But my sons college keeps that at a dream. But how many time do we come across something that we need, or know of someone that needs, or better yet could be a haul off that we could make a buck or 2?

great find.

Sweet deal doug, i just got given to me a 21ft double axle landscape trailer with a 16' deck that i will be converting to a car trailer.  Needs lots of TLC but it will be just fine when i am finished with it.

Good looking trailer Doug ,,,,That  is the next thing that I'm looking at getting. There is going to be a benefit car show here in town in september for one of my friends brother that needs a lung transplant and i know i won't have the hotrod driveable by then I'd at least like to trailer it in for that show

Nice trailer, congrats. ;D I wish I had one. A friend lets me use his anytime I want so it has been hard to spend the $ on one.

I too have a friend that will loan me one of his car trailers, but sometimes I feel guilty taking his trailer on long trips. So I searched a while and found this one for 1600 bucks. I will still borrow his Once in a while though.

I know what ya mean. I have kept his trailer in good shape. We will be painting it and re-wireing it this summer.

Used the trailer the other day to bring a tractor out to my property and the left front tire broke through the deck. Gonna have to do some work now to repair that. Had to use a handy man jack to lift the tractor up high enough to put some boards under it.
If i have to before i go to deadwood S.D. for kool deadwood nights, i may just put some plywood over the hole for now.
