The summer of 68 and the fun we had then, drag raicin on the street, cruizen the drive-in, going to a drive in for some night moves.
Can anyone tell what that is hanging under the dash?


And yes this one was fast, not as fast as the 59. This one only had a 351 worked over. But the 3spd would hang up between 1st and 2nd if I was driving respectable.

Thanks for recalling the memories.  A Hurst floor shifter meant you were serious.  I'm guessing that device under the dash is a tape eating machine, 8-track style   :o

Outside of you and me I was wondering who else would know. And at the time I went big time, MIRANTZ. Just as my collection in 8trks was growing here come's cd's and FM radio. Could not win for losing.

i was 4 that summer :o had to keep a book of matches to shim the 8 track tape

The exhaust tubes, got the idea after looking at the new Dodge Challenger.
