Severe weather in Cheyenne, wy 6/25/2014
« on: June 25, 2014, 04:53:35 PM »
Well we've had some pretty wacky weather here in Cheyenne in the last 24 hrs. We've had large hail and 1 tornadoe. Pic of the hail is from my daughters house. The tornadoe pic is also from my daughter, it was just west of town.

That is some scarry stuff. I guess the advantage to it all is that most homes have basements. I need to call my Dad. He lives on that side of town.

Hey bud you should start to see an increase in roofing company's come to Cheyenne. I know after the last round of bad storms here I noticed 4 different company's roaming the street. Infact we have a new company take up residence. In my block alone they have been busy doing 5 roof's. Now 6 counting mine. And I just had a new roof added last year. But this year's storms have been brutal. Not only the roof, the rain gutter's and the paint. Aaahhh Kansas.

Kids had a broken window in the bathroom by the hail storm, so they took a picture of the hail. Said 2 of their vehicles got hit fairly good too, but no broken windows there. Wish i had time to start a business like that, with the hours i work at the refinery, it keeps me more then busy........
