what to do with my 52

IM building a 52 Chrysler new yorker it as 331 hemi and an odd fluid drive trans but hasn't  been started in 50 yrs  so do I attempt rebuild or go with a swap, and if so what. All suggestions appreciated ,

Keep and freshin the hemi. As for tranny maybe a more modern with OD?  But the hemi gets my vote for power.

I third the idea of keeping the Hemi........nothing any cooler than an old school Hemi! 8) 8)

The old hemi is junk. I will do you a favor and take it off your hands. I'll even give you it's fair value in scrap metal.    8)

I would be glad to offer up a good SBC for trade , hell I'll even through in a turbo 350 just to sweeten the deal .... seriously give me a call

Ill go two running SBC's for the Hemi, and throw in some old fixable carburetors too!

I'm with OLdskool, Keep the 331, build it with a nice cam and Drive the Paint right off of it!!!

Let me see what IM looking at to swap vs rebuild money wise that will be a big factor will I have to change front clip for a sbc 350turbo Trans swap

For starters in the swap you will have to come up with motor mounts and where to place them. The tranny will  need a new support. Then you have the drive line to modify. Just for starters. I am sure that you will have plenty of room in the engine bay for  anything from a 350 to a 400.
In spite of every ones intentions one thing is of importance. This is your ride and do what you want for you. And if you have a family keep them in mind, safety, comfort and reliability.
