« on: September 21, 2017, 08:43:52 PM »
i got a custom chassis and it has a 1930s front axle and i'm trying to get a disk brake conversion kit but i dont know the year. after all the research you almost have to know the exact year. Is there a measurement(s) i can take to figure it out?

Do you have the old backing plates and maybe the brake shoes??  A good parts man can identify the brake shoes.  Some of the guys and gals here may be able to identify your axle by sight.

How about some pics??
