Kamikazi 3 link front end
Album - Owner: Bobaluma - 5 items
This is an experimental front end set-up. It has adjustable quarter elliptics with shackles, conventional upper links with a triangulated (wishbone) lower link. The axle is an adapted '41 Chevy truck with a Speedway disc brake kit. I put limit straps on the suspension to prevent pulling the shocks apart while I'm popping a wheelie! I decided to do something different but remember, I am the crash-test-dummie! If something is sketchy about this set-up I will go to the conventional 4 link or hairpin. The steering geometry is stock '41 Chevy, with the same 17" diameter steering wheel. The drag-link and tie-rod ends have Ford 7 deg. ends
