« on: December 08, 2013, 06:09:54 AM »
While looking and cleaning my inbox this morning I had 1 get my sleep filled eyes attention. And knowing how cold my un-insulated garage is.  I do believe I need 1.

Just got myself a new Mr. heater salamander type unit, diesel, or kerosene.
Replacing outside sheeting this morn, bad day for it.

For what I want to do and the cold and my thumbs arteritis. Went in the garage yesterday and the ol girl fired up. After shutting her down about an hour later went too start again, no luck. It was to cold. So that tells me 2 things. 1) insulate. And 2) heat.

I have sereral heaters, my main was in a 300,000 btu natural gas heater, then i have a huge propane heater and a couple torpedo heaters......Usually the 300,000 btu heater is enough, but when it's -19*f below zero, it can get expensive, so i just leave it set to 40*f during these cold snaps.....

Yes but it beats the alterative, a stay in the hospital plus doc.
