Tac!!  Hope to see you there!!  It's about an hour drive for me. I plan on being there most of the day on Saturday. If you're coming, PM me and we'll figure out how to get together.

I'm starting to get more excited about this show as it gets closer.

I've never been to one of these and I don't know if it's gonna' be like a car show, a cruise in, or a big event like the Goodguys deal I went to back in the spring. I'm looking for ideas and for a few odds and ends to rat up my project.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it!!

It was a hoot!!  The majority of the Wilson County Fairgrounds was covered with iron!!  Lots of folks selling pieces and parts and cars and trucks everywhere!!  I got quite a few good pics and I'll put 'em up somewhere in the next couple of days when I get 'em sorted and edited.

Met some nice folks and even a couple of guys that hang out here.

Here's the first batch of pics from the Rumble!!

The first four are a neat little pickup with a bolt together frame. The Henry J and the big Buick are cool and the license plate on the last one says it all

Here's another batch of pictures.  We spent about seven hours and walked three or four miles!  It was hot but there was a decent breeze and plenty of food vendors where you could get a cool beverage!!

This first pic is like what I'd like to build in a roadster.

The Tudor in the third pic is a total trailer queen!!  Doesn't even have a place for a license plate!!  :-\ It does run and drive.

The 6th, 7th, and 8th pictures are a car that was definitely welding labor intensive!!

#9 pic is just a clean ride!!

Y'all shoulda' seen that big truck makin' smoke!!

More views of the Redneck Rumble.

The first one is just WEIRD!! If it makes the builder happy.............

The 8th frame is of a little Willys pickup that I'd seen earlier and I noticed the second or third time by, I noticed the Olds engine!!

The windshield decal in the last frame kinda' says it all!!  The coupe behind the decal was way clean with tons of RAT flavor!!

I'm tired!!  It's LATE!!  I'll put some more up when I get up later this morning.

"Grey Beards Customs" sticker on that last car.  I haven't seen Greg on here in awhile. He gets busy in the summer and doesn't have as much time for this internet tom-foolery!

Here's some more photos from Redneck Rumble.  I haven't heard how many rodents were there, but I know of at least three times as many as I got pictures of. Maybe four or five times as many if I were to hafta' guess.
