Frame choice
« on: July 27, 2012, 10:56:11 AM »
I have a 1990 GMC Safari mini van. I see alot of S-10 discussions on frame choice. Is my Safari mini van like a S-10 frame and if not would it be a good choice for a Rat Rod build? Thanks for your reply.

I say figure out the track width of the van(center of one front wheel too the other front wheel ) and see if that works with the build plan you have.
Hard work without talent is a shame, talent without hard work is a tragedy.

i have found that if you go to a frame shop and ask them to print off the spec sheet for the frame. it will give you all sorts of dimensions and profile drawings of the frame. not to mention frame mounts and motor mounts. very useful.
