New to the page and I haven't built a rat rod before so I was hoping there was someone close by so I could pick your brain and look at what you made for ideas.

This is last years advertisement. Also on Facebook under https://www.facebook.com/events/1800372226841389/ If you go to Grafton go early as the show starts early. We were late last year. KILLER TIME!!!! We got a motel and stayed so we could be at the Steelfest early as good spots go FAST !! Sam feeds everybody for free. Just donate to Wounded Warriors. We haven't missed but 1 since it started. It was the very first one and it was raining.

Thats when it went from an  anemic 4 cylinder to a robust v-8  .  Now she has a junk yard 5.0.

I live in MO as well. But I'm not close to Sedalia. I'm something like 3 hours away on the east side of the state. Also I technically don't have a ratrod. I own ratty rusty cars. But no true ratrod.

In my opinion Rat rods are as much of an attitude as it is a car. You can have a rusty old car and not have the proper attitude it's just a POS, but with the attitude It's a ratrod.

I agree completely. A hotrod is a hotrod simply because of attitude, not because of any particular attribute. (Hotrods = ratrods)

But enough politics, we get enough of that on the TV!   -lol

IDK.....MY pos is my rat.....painted the wheels red and declared it a "RAT"....... 35 yrs of TEXAS sun patana.....only garages it's seen was fur a quick repair......seems a fine line between ratty and rat rod, it is all in your head
