 >:(  Well, after a LOT of measuring, fussin' and cussin, I found out that I WON'T be able to use either my Slant six, OR, the 221 out of the '53!!!!
It looks like I will have to use the 4cyl/auto out of the Volvo!
 :( :o :-\

Cool car, what about building or getting a different frame so's you can stretch it out a bit in the front.  A T frame is not a good choice for a newer motor because of the style, and size.  You can always stretch the hood if needed.

It is already on a boxed Model 'A' frame. I went with this setup because I don't have time to build another one. It has to be driving by the end of June! :o

From looking at the pictures, i would think you could extend the front of the frame, and move the radiator forward. That way you can put the motor of your choice in it. Even boxed, you can still move that radiator forward.

A boxed A frame will work, the minor frame stretch might help, or re-work the firewall maybe.

That sucks. I extended the front frame rails on a 31 and it worked out perfectly.......

Well yall becareful down south. I think the beginning of next week is going to be wicked for allot of states. It's supposed to snow here in cheyenne, up to 20". That means the cold front from here will be smashing into warm fronts east of here.

We are getting a snow storm starting tonight, it's raining like crazy right now and it's only 9 in the morning. Supposed to get 9 to 12" of snow, with winds over 40mph. This cold front will be running south east, so i have a feeling things will be bad in the midwest, weather wise.
