1987 suburban rearend

My brother has a rearend out of a 87 suburban that he is going to let me have and I was wondering how wide it is and how hard it would be to put under my 47 Chevy fleetmaster I'm still thinking bout getting a camaro rearend but I like free better

Sadly if i'm not mistaken, gm used several differant rear ends for their vehicles. Most of them were called gm corporate rear ends. You'll have to look at the housing and see which one you have.
