Starting engine for my 38 chevy projet

Here a video of the first time we started the motor for my 38 chevy truck build.
Sounded very good.

I really did enjoy it, was a good very good night...with the open headers not sure the nieghbors enjojed it as much as I did..HA.

To make it even better it was one of the rare times my son came outto the garage to particapate, seems the whole car time just isn't his thing which for the life of me I can not understand.

I think it will make a good starting engine for the project should produce enouge horse power to get it down the road.
Really didn't entend when I purchased it to make it the power plant for this project.

Thanks for posting that,.....I just got off the phone with my 34 year old son that included a discussion about how much we love each other in spite of the fact we didn't spend as much time together as we could have when he was younger.
Sons all have a habit of coming around when they get older.  ;D

Man that engine sounds great,......firing up something you built yourself for the first time...is about as close to child-birth as a man will ever get!!  It's indescribable. ;D
