My wife wants to adopt one.

Ha ha, we had some foxes visiting out house a few years ago, eating the cat food. They were good, well-mannered guests. Never caused any problems. Ditto for the raccoons. They'd scratch at our window and bring their babies down for handouts. Never pooped on the porch or got into the garbage.

If you get lucky to catch 1 or 2 by the time that they are 6 weeks old there might be a chance of domesticating them. But what would the Game and Fish people say ?
