Topic: Antique Astro Van

My daily driver 1990 Astro Van AWD now qualifies as an antique vehicle (25 or more years old) by state DMV. Here is a recent photo of the odometer turning over 400,000 miles - original motor, transmission, etc. - the only thing I've changed is the radiator. It's like a family member.

Wow, i have never seen a mini van get to those high a mileage..........that's awesome

Change oil every 5000 miles. 4.3 V6, 700R4. She's towed many a project home that weighed twice as much - even a 28' travel trailer over 6% grades. Sees lots of off-road use as well. AWD, never been stopped by snow.

That is 1 rare one. Wish that I could say that the oil gets changed every 5,000 miles on my F150, 4.2 with OD auto. It has about 192,000 on it and still running good. And it too has  done its share of towing.

My old gold ranger had 201,xxx on it when I traded(I got nervous) she still ran great and still pulled 17-18 mpg even with me driving
