I just started tearing into my f-150 so I can have it as a daily driver, again. I parked it about three years ago and used it pretty much as a farm vehicle. I don't have a farm so I refer to it as my "yard truck". I removed all of the frame cross members and brackets from the cab back to deal with the rust and repair. 38 rivets removed, alot of grinding, drilling, air chiseling and CURSING! I'm going to use Eastwood's rust encapsulator. It's supposed to be similar to POR-15. The only difference is it isn't UV sensitive (POR-15 is UV sensitive) and is a little more pliable when it dries. The pictures show the front gas tank still in which is now out along with all of the fuel lines also. Will post more as I go along.

Perfectly rainy day to get my lazy a$$ in the garage to install the springs, rear and brackets etc. Making some progress (very slowly).

Finally got the back end/chassis back together. Now will pull back in garage to start on the front/cab etc.

Thanks. I took a break on this waiting for some warmer days. The older I get the more I avoid going out into a cold garage (LOL). Hope to get back on this soon.

I know what you are saying about the cold , and very old age does not help .
