Tyres
« on: July 24, 2012, 02:45:12 PM »
right then,i need to alter my gearing to drop my revs at speed, its revving high at 65mph and my rear axle ratio is 4.1 the problem is its an alfa romeo 105 type(1974 spider) and i cant get a better ratio for it,at the moment i've got 600x16 silvertowns on it that come out at 27" tall,if i could get some 750s or even 800s the extra height will drop the revs..do they come up second hand often at a reasonable price?bearing in mind i'd have to ship them to England..they are so fekking expensive over here.
cheers guys

I've got a Freind who works at a tire shop. I'll get up with him and see what he says.
