frame build

does any one ever use 5 in or 6 in channel iron to build a frame ? I am thinking down the road , I have a couple ideas I have been thinking about . one is and all alum. body

It could probably be used, but you only have one side to build off of verses tubing.......
Love building rat rods, driving mustangs, and building websites.

Think the channel isnt square on the inside either.Kinda c shaped inside if I remember.probably weighs more too. But if the channels free...
