Thought I'd add this to the thread.  Yesterday's junkyard haul!!
All this for under $150! Gotta luv Pick-N-Pull and their Toolkit Rewards program. This past weekend was 1/3 off for members only.
You're looking at 2nd seat outta a Dodge Caravan (minivan). Soon to be covered by a mexican blanket and it fits like a glove between the roadster bun panels!

Dash pod from a '63 Galaxie 500. Should integrate well into the stock T dash.

A pair of rear trailing arms from an '01 Land Rover Discovery. Outta locate my 8" Maverick rear just dandy!

Low spring rate rear coilovers from an '88 Subaru GL.

Rear trailing arm from an '01 Kia Sportage (can you say rear panhard bar?)

Rare *90 oil filter adapter for the 2.3 Turbo motor.

Specialized connector for the VAM (air meter) and 60 pin computer harness connector for my LA3 ECU.

I can't say enough about the Toolkit Rewards Program. Seems like every other day I get an email with some sort of discount for members only. In addition to the 1/3 off weekend, I've also got coupons for $20 off, 10% off any item, a free admission and 20% off any alternator. The program is free. All you have to do is sign up! I've got a bunch of parts, now I gotta get to work!

Also, I received all 4 drums from RockAuto for $119 shipped. Sounds like alot, doesn't it? $50 shipping is included in that price. The 4 drums alone, if purchased through O'Reilly's Auto were $190! I'm running '56 F100 brakes up front. The newer (and much better looking) drums are from a '66 F150 with the 5x5.5 bolt pattern.

The rears are a different story. '74-'77 Maverick rear drums run well over $100 EACH! After much research I concluded that '81-'83 Ford F150 w/V6 drums are a perfect match for the above rear and are priced at $23 each! Gotta luv RockAuto!  I don't wanna sound like I'm gloating by listing prices and such.  I'm just posting all info in the hopes that someone else can save some $$ too.  Long live ratrods!

Thanks for the info on the drums; I'm going to rebuild the brakes on my '73 Maverick rear end this winter and you just saved me a bunch of $$$$$$!

PS: Those are all excellent partsl. Good cheap coilover alternative, and that 90-degree filter adapter is too cool!

Finally got my Maverick 8" rear mounted up in the roadster.
Parts used:
Land Rover Discovery trailing arms - $35 pair.
'87 Subaru coilover shocks - $18 pair.
'01 Kia Sportage trailing arm (panhard bar) - $22.
Salvage yard steel for brackets - 40 cents a pound.

Setup the rear w/3* of pinion angle.

I sandblasted all the parts and then designed some rear brackets and tacked 'em up.

Built the X-member outta 2" square tubing and mounted the front brackets there.

Cut some patterns and made up the lower shock mounts.

Fabbed the upper mounts also.

Made the outer panhard bar brackets and mounted them.

Fabbed the housing brackets.

Now I'm ready to shorten the Kia trailing arm.  Cut the end off, then removed 4-3/4".

Ooops!

16 penny nails to the rescue!

Panhard bar all welded up and mounted.

Everything mounted.  Just needs to be finish welded.

While I was at it, I swapped tailshafts on my T5.  The stock TurboCoupe tranny would have put the shifter into the middle of the Dodge Caravan seat I'm using.  I was scouring Pick-N-Pull and low and behold, there sat a '93 Chevy S10 pickup with the motor removed.  The T5 was hanging by the driveshaft and emergency brake cable!  Couldn't have been easier!  I dropped it down and pulled the tailshaft and shifter plate.

Pulled the tailshaft and shifter plate off my TurboCoupe T5.

Note the difference in shifter placement between the 2.  TC tailshaft on the left, S10 tailshaft on the right.

Installed the S10 tailshaft and shifter plate.  Now the shifter is a solid 7" forward of it's original location.

TC trans w/S10 tailshaft.

TC trans w/original tailshaft.

Next up will be motor mounts, tranny mount and driveshaft hoop.  Stay tuned!
