Great idea for a thread, and I might give the hose reel a try.
I will try to think of some of the ideas I can throw in here, and will look forward to some others.

The fan shroud off of the 64 had been laying around for some time. So with this new house it has been converted to a water hose reel.

With my new smaller shop I took a hose reel welded some square tubing to it to span the rafters so the hose is always close at hand and all my hoses have a brass tee with a small brass pepcock and I never have to look for a blow gun its not in the way ever and I wouldn't have a hose without it. Its an air tank drain small and super tough.

I like it oldskool. While cruising the toy department I found this mask for 7 bucks it fits over my glasses and covers my head great for grinding my most favorite shield ever.

Unless the power rangers adopted a sit and shoot policy I would probably just  be their fabricator.

I'll throw one in here. I use a combo 50% acetone, and 50% tranny fluid, as a lubricant on rusty bolts. Works good,  have not heard of anything better yet.

Cutting your own panels. I make all my replacement panels to save big money and here's how I do it. I always use a jigsaw with white grease it will increase a blades life by about ten. I always cut a piece of scrap wood with my metal it makes the cut way nicer. Clamps of screw wood over your piece. You can never be to secure. Use a belt Sander to clean up your cut. With some practice you can make great parts out of scraps.

I use a sneaky concoction of 50/50 acetone and transmission fluid on rusty bolts... works way better than anything I have ever used....

Saw it on another forum... it doubles as a drill bit coolant in the spray bottle too.

Great Thread!
