1940 chevy-GMC questions
« on: February 08, 2014, 04:38:02 PM »
I just trade my 83 CJ7 for 2 1940 stake bed trucks---- 1 is a 3/4 ton chevy, and the other is a 3/4 ton GMC.
Both cabs are in good shape, but the GMC is better in the grill area.
I have been looking for info on the front axles and tying to find disc brakes for one or the other to start my build.
I have a chevy 350 that I want to put in it, and a 700R4 I need to rebuild and drop in it. Looking to put a chevy rear in it.
I would like suiside front and rear. Posible 4 link as well.  But the front brakes , I am at awwww.
Anyone help me?
 Thanks
