Topic: 57 chevy truck

does anybody have any sugestions i want to put a sub frame under my 57 chevy truck havnt got truck here yet just brain stormn i was thinking round 86 monte carlo but not sure would b easiest

I know this post is a little old but come on I just got here lol I would say measure up a front steer camaro sub mid to late 70's early 80 I know they are a little wider than the early 70's rear steer subs that we put in the cars just a thought

I'll join in, Think you might try 1970-1978, type small GM, Nova, Camaro, ect, measure first and figure out steering, as stated earlier.

If it were me I wouldn't use an S-10 frame or even a Camaro sub-frame, The Monte-carlo might be better because the frame is wider like the 57 body is.

The ideal frames to Use are the'77-'90 Caprice-type GM sedan & station wagon frames.

Or use the'73 thru '87 Chevy/GMC pickup frame or the'73 thru '91 Chevy/GMC Blazer or Suburban frame if you want the truck to sit higher.
