Ha ha, I should have specified: that's a good unique. I never criticize anyone's design; Firstly, they just might be smarter than me! And secondly, I'm not like those HAMB "Build Police."  How someone builds their car is their business, not mine.

Your setup appears immensely strong, the geometry looks good and I like the way you made the lower 4-link brackets do double duty as bottom bag mounts. The swept upper bag mount braces are nicely artistic. Will the outer brackets on the axle be your shock mounts? Triangulated 4-links are always difficult for mounting accessories because the upper bars angle through the middle of everything. You solved that problem by mounting them well behind the rear end. But where will your gas tank be: in the stock location in the cowl?

Thanks, I'm trying to save as much room as I can .I want to be able to have more than 1 passenger . The gas tank will be in the back, there's 2 places ,above  or to the back of the rear end .Gonna get the body on then check it out.The outer brkts are the old 4-link mounts  & emergency brake , havnt decided what im going to do w/ them. The shocks will go in front of the rear end in line w/ the rear air bags (I hope)  Going to find some shocks w 8" of travel so the frame can go up & down 4" each way

Hey Jordon that is some awesome work but do you mind if I step in yer business for a minute and ask some questions?

Now mind you where I'm coming from.
I have never built a frame!
I have only built 4x4's Suspension motors transfer cases ect.
I bagged 2 mini trucks if that counts for anything.

How many 4 links have you built before?
did someone tell you how to measure what to make the Geometry right? I mention Geometry like talking about a Bologna sandwich I don't know anything about it just that I like it.

I'll just take that away it's stupid of me to ask such questions...

Please don't take offence by my stupid questions, How better to learn then to ask...

This one plus one more will make 2. Everything I have come up with has come from researching it. Everyone has a opinion and I welcome all. This is my 1st build, but my background for 30 years is industrial construction(welding , rigging ,ironwork etc.)The geometry of the 4link is just something I come up with after researching it .Hopefully by fall , ill be able to test it out. The rear end is out of a 77 lincoln

Thanks for your reply man I only ask because it's such a great looking design.
with the square tube off the rear of the axle tubes making for the short top bars and creating the shift in for bottom bar mounts...

Cool.

Thanks, I got lucky on the wheels, a good friend told me he had some wheels he wanted to give me . Couple of months later I went to his house to visit, i had forgot about  the wheels , he reminded me he still had them , so we went and looked at them (you would have to know my friend, he don't ever give anything away) and I couldn't get them in the truck fast enough. I don't know what kind they are ,except for  them being 15x7

Dang, I love it - top quality design and workmanship. I wish I'd done mine that way, but I doubt my welds would be air tight   :-[
