Hey Grumpy,,,   I'm going to replace instrument cluster with a aftermarket instrument cluster. Thanks for the well wishes on the new job. Tomorow is my last day at the shop and start at the new job Monday.  Dave is still hauling cars but not this week he went to visit his son in Atlanta but he did take the enclosed trailer with him and is looking to buy something down there

Just talked to my buddy Dave and he cut the dash out of the 53 Ford F-100 with his plasma cutter yesterday and should be here next week. Can't wait to get back at it

Went very good the place is really laid back and low stress. I think I got to meet everyone in the whole plant today and everyone was really nice. I've got the whole shop all to myself and only have to deal with my supervisor Harry who is a great guy. It's a very cool job and I'm lucky to have it

No they are'nt heated but they are power but I'm going to take them off the power base and mount them on the original seat bases for the cab so they will bolt right in.  Hey I put nice seats in it so my wife would ride in it I don't want to make her to comfortable because then she'll want to drive it and thats not happening!!!!

Yeah that might be a problem, she'll want it and then you'll have build another one for yourself.

Well I haven't got much done on the hotrod in the last two months I've had three surgeries on my shoulder in that time and they still haven't got it right so in a couple of weeks I gotta go for number four. So it's been a couple weeks since the last one and it's starting to heal up I hit the shop today and got the paint stripped of the dash and instrument panel mounted in it. Still have some fab work on the end to do I my work that tomorrow
