I think it really depends on the car its going under my 47 dodge and my buddys 48 chrysler both have 73-74 nova subs and they work perfect seen g-body subs work also and some front steer camaro subs also

I put a '75 nova front sub in my '53 chevy truck , it fit great . But I did make my own custom rear frame to tie to the sub . By doing that I was in charge of the ride height not chevrolet . And now it has disc brakes and powerful steering .

I'm also wondering what subframe to put under my car. Is it possible to just take the control arms (or A arms if you will) from a different vehicle and graph them in? Or do you have to have the entire subframe? My car has the one of a kind studebaker four bolt hubs and its impossible to find rims and id like to update to discs anyhow.
Taking the left for dead automobiles and bringing them back to life for another go at it
