Dirt in December
« on: December 17, 2017, 01:51:28 PM »
Went to the dirt track races in the Dome at St Louis last nite. Very good show! Thought the fumes might be a problem. Never smelt a thing. Not real bad dusty either. $9.00 beers kinda sucked though. If your into dirt late models or Modifieds it was good. They did a good job of keeping the show going. Opening ceremonies were spectacular with pyro-techs and light shows. Friday night as they were running the qualifying races they tore some stuff up as they raced. It was 1/5 mile bullring. Slight banks. The guys that run the cushion real carried a lot of speed. One late model got carried out by it's halo. Never saw a late model that tore up before.
life is a ride where you slide into heaven sideways on 4 flats blown motor saying Thank you God what a ride!!!!!
