1941 super deluxe axle and rear end swap
« on: July 20, 2015, 06:10:11 AM »
1941 super deluxe. Poor condition and building back very unique with a 7.3 idi. Was wondering what rear end and axle to use if i can use original I will. But I don't know if it will hold up to the power and would love to have a turbo setup one day? What do you guys think?

A more modern axle gives you easy to work on good brakes, and , more power ability, most preferred seems to be a Ford 9" or 8.5",  others (GM) are done but may not be as easy to work around.

What Obama said........The original axle will never hold up to that much power.
Love building rat rods, driving mustangs, and building websites.
