Eclipse

Here's some eclipse pictures that I got today:  Notice the sun spots, etc as our telescope did a pretty good job.

Took this just as the corona burst on the back side. The sun was passing through a contrail, so it looks like a fireball screaming across the sky.  Mercury is visible just below the sun to the right.

The temperature actually got bearable in Florida during the eclipse.  We need full time sun blocker.

The temp in Nashville dropped around 13 degrees on average!!

The ring picture is my favorite as you can clearly see solar flares in that one.
