Got the s10 bed cut up and the bed for the truck shortened and put back together. I cut 6 1/4" out and put the pockets back on. It's all tached on for now I might have to make adjustments when I get the running boards on.
The bed was rougher than I remember but it worked out! I cut most the bad out when I shortened it. The passenger rear stake pocket is still rough but I think it'll be just fine!

Got the running boards cut down sectioned 6 1/4" out. I also made my filler panels for the running board to the bed. I found some cheap red primer that matcha decent enough to work.

Started working on the radiator tonight. It's a mess they sent me a different radiator then what I mocked up with so I've had to cut the upper radiator support back loose and pull the top out so I will have room for my hose. The mounting holes weren't even drilled in the new radiator. I learned a lesson tonight for sure! I'll wait on the parts I'm going to use to get here before I make anything permanent!

Don'cha' hate it when they do ya' like that??  Makes me really angry when a supplier substitutes another part for what I was ordering!!

It DOES make us better fabricators most of the time, but it costs so much in time and frustration when what you get ain't what you wanted!!

It's aggravating but not much we can do. Even the trans line bungs are smaller on this one. I got 5/16 line but this one take 1/4 fitting. I'll get some 5/16 fittings with 1/4 thread and it'll be fine I guess.

Got all the radiator and front end buttoned up. I got the radiator hoses and transmission lines done yesterday and I put the bumper on tonight. Waiting on my gauges so I can take the bed back off and get my new fuel pump and sender installed and hopefully be done with the bed so I can get the running boards on!

Nice job on the running boards and splash apron, I guess we can call the red primer "touch up paint" or "detail paint"

Got the filler neck cut and hole in the bedside done. I also got my running boards and filler panels on today! Waiting on gauges to come in so I can finish the fuel lines and get started on the inside of the cab!

Gauges came today so I started modifying the fuel bucket for the Dolphin sender. I got it all buttoned up but my filler neck had a hole in it so I'll have to wait to put the bed back on.
I cut some of the tab of and flipped it to hold the top of the sending unit and put a screw in the bottom. Done this one a lot cleaner than the last hope it reads right!

Got the filler neck and got the bed back on. I had to hang a door to get a picture of it and see what it'll look like. I'm liking the red primer the more it comes together.

Got both doors hung and glass out of them. I took them back off to finish the inside door bottoms and do some prep for paint work. I also done some work on the inside kick panels to get them ready for paint. I'm on vacation this week so I hope to get it ready to go get wired up!

Got a lot down the last few days. All the metal has been cleaned up and in primer. I'm trying to decide what color to use I've got Red and Pewter. I'll figure it out and get some color on this week!

Tough call on color. I think I would go pewter, not a color you see everyday

It was a tough one I slept on it and even went most the day thinking about what to do. I decided to go with Red I done pewter on the Ole Ugly green truck and thought I'd try something different! I hope it don't look terrible when it all said and done I'll have to repaint it.
