Chassis Swap ideas, would like to hear them
« on: April 20, 2018, 08:49:05 PM »
Would like to hear about frame/chassis swaps. Especially on the 48 to 52 ford trucks. All are welcome though, thanks.
Me and my 5 year old son Matthew Sixx have built this truck. It is his, just ask him. Matty is number 6 of six kids, therefore named. Have driven for a out 3 years, decided to do engine transplant this winter(explains towbar) Really into answering any questions regarding S10 frame swap/track width

Check the wheel base and track(width). Most people use s-10. I used a ranger as that's what I had and I'm a Ford guy anyway. Heard guys have used Dodge dakota's. Just depends on your skills. On my big truck I used a 1990 F-450 as I wanted to pull my trailer with it.(F-1050)
life is a ride where you slide into heaven sideways on 4 flats blown motor saying Thank you God what a ride!!!!!

S10’s are a pretty close fit...
Love building rat rods, driving mustangs, and building websites.
