Hey anybody know where i can get some Aluminum plates on the cheap. Like 1.5" x 6"square. I stumbled on some killer craiger s/s front wheels that have some good age to them. Problem being they're set up for a 46 ford bolt pattern which is 5x5 (? haven't measured, i just know its big) and my bolt pattern is 5x4.5. id like to machine out some adapters but don't know where to get a hold of any aluminum stock like that - since I'm am across the country from anywhere i would have normally gone.

you can usually get adapters on ebay for around $120.00 for 4

That's where i bought mine..........

I would redrill the hubs and axles to the bolt pattern of your wheels. Thats what I have done on my rearend and have done for a couple of friends cars. But I am a machinist. If you know one it would be the way to go in my opinion.

im not sure that i have the room to do it. they arent very big disks. i would have to measure it out.
