Need advice for Chopping my 49 Plymouth P18
« on: October 26, 2012, 01:16:31 PM »
I would like to chop my 49 Plymouth P18. It is a two door fastback and looks like a tough chop. I would rather not reccess the trunk, but looks like it would be hard to keep the existing lines without doing so. ANY ADVICE?

If you don't angle the trunk area it will look like a flat top , that would just be wrong . I don't see anyway of doing it without working on the trunk .

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have some pics of a fastback Chevy, has very similar lines. I guess I'll have to give it a go.

You don't have to recess the trunk into the body. You can pancake the deck lid its self to get the flow depending on how much you chop it
