Title: oxidized paint

Am building a 47 Chevy Fleetline the whole car is oxidized but the rear fenders still have there semi nice black paint on them how can I get them to match the rest of the car?

Pix? Not quite sure what your seeing. Wet sanding? Dry sanding? Oxidising metal is fairly easy but paint is different
