Anybody have any secret ideas for exhaust cutouts that work, stay quiet, and might be a better deal than "Speedway" ,last I looked they seemed kinda pricey. Plumbing valves? any ideas?

I think i would just buy a set and call it good. If you do a google search and then look at the shopping link, you'll find all the different price's and companies that make cut outs......

My dad found a set at a swap meet a few weeks back and only paid $40.00 for them, they are the old school style...so I would check e-bay, Hemmings Motor News, and swap meets...and as Hotwheels said google them....hey, even post a wanted ad on Rat Rods For Sale....someone is bound to have a set cheap.... :)

Thanx ya all, to much info out there on the cable ones leaking, may just have to spend money on the electric setup, or find something else. Will keep it on my shopping list.
