Little work done last night. I got the cab floor finished up and all the holes in the firewall filled. I also got the s10 frame mounts cut off  I'm gonna attempt to mount the cab tonight if all goes well.

Tonight's progress the cab is mounted and front end is hung so I can make the radiator support brackets. I'll set the hood on it tomorrow and with a little luck get the front done!

Progress pics from yesterday. The bed has been cut down and sitting in place. I'll get it tacked in place tonight maybe and a shot of one of the rear wheels sitting in the fender!

Got the front clip mounted tonight and I had to see what one of those new wheels were gonna look like! I gotta pull it all apart to get the engine and trans in and do all the important stuff to make her go!

Not much going on here I sold my welder and upgraded to a bigger one. I gotta add some wire and conduit to help run it.

Hobart seems to be a good welder all the reviews were good. I will miss my little Lincoln it did a great job just couldn't handle the bigger stuff. I almost have my conduit done I'm adding 2 outlet one on each pole so I can work anywhere in the garage.

I keep following your builds.  I really like what your doing, and plan to use some of your ideas, when eventually I can start on mine.

I bought that same welder for work last fall.  I've been happy with it.  Personally I have a Miller at home and love it.

But I too read all the reviews on that Hobart, and couldn't find a bad review anywhere.  I really think its a great buy for the money.

What bead roller are you using?  Soon I would like to get one for myself to.

Thanks man! I think I'm gonna like it! I don't know the name of the bead roller it belongs to a buddy of mine. It does a good job for small stuff but don't have a big enough throat to do large metal pieces.

Well after a long weekend I finally finished getting the electrical conduit and wiring done for the welder! A buddy of mine came over and helped me fish the wire through the conduit and get it all hooked up! I did a few short welds and think I will very pleased with it!
