The "stormtrooper"
« on: October 04, 2016, 08:36:27 AM »
Well recently I went on a trip to southern Oregon. I drove my Toyota Tundra there and received shitty gas mileage and found the seats really uncomfortable.

I had a great time with my aunt and uncle in the Ashland Oregon area. After I got back to Cheyenne I talked with the wife about getting rid of my tundra. So yesterday I traded off my tundra and bought a new truck.

Introducing my 2016 gmc serria 1500 aka "the stormtrooper". The truck is 100% custom built by the dealer ship and is the only one of its kind. New truck has so many upgrades that it's overwhelming right now, But I will struggle through. Lol

I don't know about the Toyota's but a few years ago I bought a 2011 Chev truck and they can load those things with lots of accessories, mine is great to cruise in. hope yours is too.  Do anything exciting in S Oregon? Visit any neat people?

The truck has so many ad ons I'm not sure if I'll ever figure them all out. I think the only thing I'm unsure of keeping is the on star thing. I can't find anything that tells me if I can still use my iPhone through the radio when talking. Guess I'll see when the 3 month trial is over.

I did have a great time in Oregon and met some really kewl people and saw some people I knew from my last visit. I think the thing I found amazing was marijuana being legal. It appeared to be everywhere I went on my visit. I can't share pictures of some of the places I visited but wow, what an amazing thing. I am actually jealous of Oregon now and I know here in Wyoming, i will never see pot legalized here.

I too saw a really cool van that a guy is building. It's an older military 4x4 van that he is putting a non inter cooled diesel in. Thing should be amazing when it's completed.

But now I'm back in Wyoming and have been enjoying 50 mph winds for the last 3 days and it's supposed to snow tonight. Yuck

They legalized it for medical use only around here. I still have to pass "The Test" at work. I qualify for several of the conditions that are listed. I never thought I'd see Illinois legalize Conceal carry so maybe there is hope around here

True that. Just seems weird seeing 3,000 pot plants growing in one spot and its legal. Kind of like walking into a high times magazine article.

I agree lowboy, would be cool.

The Stormtrooper almost got damaged here at the house the other day. I had it parked in front of the shop and the wind was blowing upwards of 80 mph. My wife had just gotten home for lunch and noticed the gutter was coming free from the shop. She moved the truck and a few minutes later, gutter came down. Thankfully she moved the truck. Lost about 40' of gutter.
