Hello all!
Figured I better introduce myself. I'm a part of a number of other forums (RRR, KB, ext) so I figured I might as well add another. Especially since it flows nicely with my interests.
I've been floating around here for quite some time, so it's time.
I'm in a suburb of denver. Been working on my rat for quite some time...... Over 2 years :/
It's a 1950 International L110. It's sitting on a 68 gmc chassis with training arms. I have the frame zee'ed and on air bags to lay frame. It's got wheels from a 2007 dodge 1500 cause I like 20's, but they aren't bright shiny chrome like you might assume. Just the black spare artillery wheels. It'll have the internationals baby moons installed when its all said and done.
To push it along, I've got a half built olds 350. I gotta drop another 2k I to it to finish up the motor. It should have somewhere in the range of 400 horse and 400 torque I hope.
Just a TH400.
Grill is home made from exhaust tubing since I don't have a very good tubing bender.
It's been a very slow process as I'm learning as I go, but it'll be on the road soon I hope. Just had a daughter join the world a couple months ago, so between her and side jobs, that's where my time has gone.
Anyways, that's my story in short.
Once I get some time, I'll jam together a quick build thread with my progress from start to now to catch everyone up. Next step, figure out how to post photos from my iPad
Looking forward to meeting a few new good people and seeing even more rats!
