« on: September 02, 2014, 05:58:25 PM »
Here we go again! Sold my 50 and within 24 hrs got me a 48 5 window.  It will need about the same attention my other got cab wise but hey it's another one saved! We got the bed off and the teuck in the garage tonight. I will brace it up then pull the cab and get a list of patch panels I need.

Ha it's something to start on!

I got a bunch done tonight the cab is clean inside and ready to sit off the frame as soon as I brace it up! Should be able to do that tomorrow in a hour or so.

Just read through your last build, and once again gotta say that was a truck a guy could drive and be proud of.  Will watch this one go together.

Went to the junk yard today and got my frame stripped I go back and get it tomorrow.  I also got my 4 wheel drive rear end with 342 gears and posi locker! Rod run is next week so I hope to get some patch panels and have this thing rolling before Halloween.

Made some progress tonight.  I got the cab off the frame and sitting where I can work on it. Doors are off and cab was braced before I pulled it so hopefully it will all go back together like it's supposed to!

You be making progress now, what motor is going in?  Must be an advantage to have done it often enough that you know where to d
brace, and how, what you need to order, to weld ect. kinda like a production line.

I'll be using a 5.3 with 4l60 in this one. It does help having done a few but they are not always the same! What does help is my last build thread lol my memory is awful.

Loaded the 3/4 frame up and hauled it off today.  Surprised when it weighed 2460 pounds! That will be more money for other stuff needed for the build! The spring Rod Run is this weekend might find some good deals there!

I got some parts for the heap this weekend! All new cowl patches, rockers and one cab corner. I will be making my own floor sections as I need them. I got the same boss 338 wheels in 18x8 and 18x9.5 with 245/40 and 285/40 nitto tires only difference is these are gray instead of black.
