Homebuilt header baffles
« on: February 05, 2013, 09:58:17 PM »
I know that "too loud" is inconceivable to some rat rodders, but with the new home made headers uncapped my truck is so loud that it's not even fun to drive. I had some leftover exhaust tube, so I decided to do something about it: make a set of internal baffles. Here's a series of pics that document the steps. I just finished them late this evening so I won't know if they helped reduce the noise until a road test tomorrow. I'll let you know.

is your exhaust going to run through the baffles all the time or will it run through your stacks , I guess what I'm asking is it switchable ?
