Thanks guys. Not sure why pic turned upside down  Glad to be on here with so many people who understand the meaning of rat rods. This truck i just started. Its a 36 chevy from N. Dakota. I Have a metal shop so i want this truck to resemble a working rat shop truck. I will keep posting pics there is a lot going on with this and is a blast to build. I WILL have it done this summer. Most interesting is the hand crank dump mechanism that i made functional

Thanks again.  That skull was the first thing I bought. Even before the truck.  I found it at a flea market for $20 lol.   I just lettered my doors too lol. That's free hand plasma cut stainless riveted on. This is a blast

They're connecting rods from a small block Chevy. I have them welder all over the truck. And I agree they would make great exhaust hangers. Apparently when I post pics with my phone they sometimes rotate.

Welcome to the group. I just got here myself.

That is going to be one great shop/work rat. The tilt bed with the old gears was a nice touch.
