Title: transparent fuel line
Post by: notw on January 21, 2014, 04:59:50 PM
I bought some transparent fuel line off eBay to use on my f100. My question is anyone's opinion on how good it works/holds up? Cheesy yea it is but does it get hard crack etc? Or has anyone even used it

Now were talking oldskool. Depends on how it is rated.  Back in the day I would buy that stuff, cut the metal line out and plug it in. It held up pretty good. Would turn brownish, guess you could call it patina. But has long as it is rated for fuel should be good.

Used it a lot on ultralight airplanes.  I like it because you can see your fuel - bubbles, debris, etc.  It does harden with age, but so does any flexible fuel line.
