radius rear fenders....
« on: October 18, 2017, 08:34:55 PM »

we are considering doing the old school radius cut-out rear fenders
to fit jumbo rear tires on the 55 plymouth, i have done the 'brake tubing'
deal before but the final bodywork is always fun in a 'crease' like that.

how about a trailer fender? split in half and use the 'lip' to finish off the
rear fender after cutting? a local shop here has em in 18 ga steel with
either a 31" or 33" radius for only $24 each.

what do you guys/girls think, worth a try?

Sounds fine to me . Save a ton of bodywork. and won't have that edge to cut the tires
