"Seasoned" rodder from Colorado
« on: April 04, 2014, 09:58:24 AM »
Hello to all of you from the mountains of southern Colorado! I'm a long-time rodder and biker, having attended my first auto race in 1956 and building my first street-legal bike in 1968. I've built quite a few cars, for both street and racing use, and drove stock cars for a number of years. I've built choppers, trikes, and custom bikes, and am an amateur custom painter since my first spray-can job on my old Schwinn in 1960. Now I use actual spray guns........ :D  I published my first novel, a gearhead action tale called "D-E-D, DEAD" in 2012, and it was a finalist in the 2013 Colorado Book Awards in the crime/thriller category.  At present, I am working on my '26 Dodge Brothers coupe, as well as trying to finish a '60 Rambler American with an injected 2.3 and five-speed from a Ranger for my wife. I look forward to meeting new people, learning new things, and having a good time here.

Welcome to the Nation. I grew up in and around Denver and remember going to the races in Pueblo back  in the early 60's.
