The LeMay Museum in Tacoma
« on: August 29, 2016, 10:45:01 AM »
Part of our trip/tour included a stop at the LeMay Automobile Museum in Tacoma, Washington. The complex covers almost a half city block and is four stories high. It'll take ya' a couple of hours to rush through it.  There are a bunch of unique vehicles and some surprising missing items.

If you have Hagerty insurance you get a discount and they waive your parking fee.

I've got many more pics from the museum.  If y'all want to see 'em, just speak up!!

Aside from a couple of glaring absences, it really IS a great collection.

There was no Tucker.  There was no Charger Daytona/Plymouth Super Bird.  They bDID have a DeLorean with the "Back To The Future" regalia.  I don't recall seeing a Corvair.

I'll post some more pics tomorrow!!

Just a side note, the Lemay family has a museum down the road and on the other side of the freeway, they have the Tucker, Harold always wanted one, and a bunch of other real neat cars, not all restored, worth the visit.

When you say, "down the road", where are you referring to?
