1929 Model A Chop-Top Ford Sedan Ratrod $15,500
« on: January 11, 2016, 08:15:24 AM »
Hot Rod Black 1929 Chop-Top Ford Sedan, Filled Ribbed Roof, BruiserBodies.com Model A Ford Fiberglass Body, titled an original 1929 Ford Sedan with a clear Texas title.
Rebuilt Small block Chevy 327, double hump heads, high torque starter with a 480 lift "Ultradyne" hydraulic cam. Holley 780 carburetor with a Edelbrock intake, Lake Style headers that turn outward, this keeps the noise down when driving the open roads. Its sounds great but it's not too loud when driving it in town. This car has a General Motors tilt steering column from a late 80's truck, with new Auto Meter gauges.
The sedan has a rebuilt turbo 350 transmission, B&M shift kit installed with a column shift, vintage Weld Racing Drag Light wheels, new 255/70 15 rear tires and 165/80 15 tires up front. The straight axle front end has new kingpins installed and it runs straight down the road with no problems. The car also stays super cool on hot days in traffic with a multi core aluminum radiator with mechanical fan installed.
The floor and tunnel has carpet. The car has no door glass. The windshield is also an original design that slides out from the bottom for a comfortable air flow. This 1929 sedan has bear claw latches in the doors.
This is a driver & as always can use a little fix-up here & there. You can drive it home with no problems, but the car is sold as is where is with no warranty or guarantees of any kind.
Call Roger at 817-426-5306 anytime before 6:00 PM. I don't email or text, if you are interested, please call me.
