Hot Licks At SEMA 2013
« on: November 23, 2013, 05:59:41 AM »
The #1 pick.

This ’57 got the most votes for your favorite vehicle at SEMA 2013, proving beyond doubt that the hot-rodding world is the most-perfectly diverse place in the world. Because whether you like pristine, $100,000-plus show cars, or rusted out rats; whether you like classic street rods, American muscle, huge big-power rigs, Ford, Chevy, Mopar, racing, off-roading, motorcycles, all of the above, or none of the above, there is SOMETHING for you in this automotive world we live in.

“Quicksilver” was a Great 8 finalist for The Ridler Award at the Detroit Autorama. But you named her the best vehicle of SEMA 2013, beating out the Ridler Award-winning “Checkered Past.” She’s armed with a 540-cubic-inch big block engine, so she does a little more than just look good.

Nothing on this ‘57 Chevy Short Bed is stock. Every metal body panel was reshaped by fabricator Jason Smith, and the engine is highlighted by the foot-tall velocity stacks of a Crower mechanical fuel injection system, which has been modified to a modern EFI unit.
Hot Rodders. The First Recyclers.
